Achievements take leaders’ name everywhere. Character keeps those names wherever they reach. A leader with no trust soon fades no matter how far he goes.

I have discovered fallen trees across my path and have possessed neither the strength to move them nor the patience or tenacity to find an alternative way round. I have simply returned to where I came from, and told myself there had been no other choice.

I will design my reputation and my resolve shall be absolute. I shall not give in when I know I can help.

But the most wonderful thing of all, our highest achievement and the one thing for which I pray we will always be remembered, is stuffing wads of polyester into an anatomically incorrect, cartoonish ideal of one of nature’s most fearsome predators for no other reason than to soothe a child.
