What are you addicted to: being thankful for your blessings or moaning about your problems?
It’s easy and natural to be thankful when your expectations are met. The real test of your faith is when things don’t go your way, or when you are in pain.
I can’t say ‘why me,’ Brady. That’s one of the big no-can-do’s. Because if I do that now that bad stuff has happened to me, why didn’t I say it about all the amazing stuff that happened to me before?
I just want to understand how people misunderstand each other!
Replace the word can’t with can. Know that you can, believe that you can, and know will ALL of your heart that you will. You will succeed in spite of any obstacles that may try to hinder you! There’s so much power in having a positive attitude, positive mindset, and positive outlook.
The stories I tell myself about myself are contexts for what I believe is possible. These stories affect not only my attitudes about myself and others, but affect my behavior in what could become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Getting older is inevitable–being old is a choice.
When people give me a compliment, I just look back and smile, as I am just a glimpse of both my father’s. Both earthly and heavenly.
Two things define you, your attitude when you are at your worst and your attitude when you are at your best.
Don’t make excuses. Make commitments and stick to them.
