Everyone has scars. Cowards conceal them. The brave reveal them.
I’m not brave; it’s just that all other choices have been thrown out the window.
What is life but God’s daring invitation to a remarkable journey? And what is human nature but a staunchly inbred tendency toward self-preservation? And because of the rigidly paradoxical nature of these things, the road of life is seldom trod beyond a few scant steps.
The thing is, there is no certainty in this life – in one second your entire world could shift. I’m not saying it will, but I am living proof that It can. We never prepare for tragedy and that’s a good thing but my god what’s it’s taught me is how little we appreciate what we have or some cases once had.
I think having the knowledge, plus the experiences you’ve lived through, make you definitely not fragile. They make you brave.
Fail as fast as you can as much as you can and then you will know what Success is.
No matter how long you train someone to be brave, you never know if they are or not until something real happens.
