Good fortune often occurs when you stop expecting life to present opportunities to you and you start presenting opportunities to life.
Before I knew you, I thought brave was not being afraid. You’ve taught me that bravery is being terrified and doing it anyway.
Thank you for the pain. At least I am no longer afraid to face it next time.
I’ve attempted to flood the path with light where I could, and where I could not I’ve wanted at least to hold up a candle so that others coming this way might not stumble too painfully.
We were not born whole; we were born new, and each life experience coated us with another layer. These layers protected us like armor, but they also covered us to the point where we no longer could feel. That was the balance: to open up to the experiences, to strategically place the layers, but to leave the heart open. The heart had to be sent into the front lines every day, naked, unarmed, willing to take fire. That was the only way to live. With risk. On the cusp of dying.
Having hope gives you the courage to survive any hardship.
Fear cannot capture us, criticism cannot harm us, and pride cannot make us fall.
We were still at the age when girls are years older than guy, and the guys grow up by doing their best when the girls need them to.
I believe that You Reap What You Sow. I believe that we don’t meet people by accident; everything happens for a reason. I believe that standing for what you believe in isn’t an easy thing but it’s the right thing to do; be brave to stand for what you believe in even if you stand alone.
Trust in God, gives us the hope to survive any situation.
