I treat my thoughts like an old person treats their valuables: I cannot for the life of me proceed to throwing them out.
Money doesn’t define people but character does. People with character will see pass the money. The person without either is simply blind.
You can want the world for someone but if all they want is the bare minimum, they will do things to keep themselves there. The biggest factor to look for is the people they listen to over you. That’s who they inspire to be like.
This is what I believe: That I am I. That my soul is a dark forest. That my known self will never be more than a little clearing in the forest. That gods, strange gods, come forth from the forest into the clearing of my known self, and then go back. That I must have the courage to let them come and go. That I will never let mankind put anything over me, but that I will try always to recognize and submit to the gods in me and the gods in other men and women. There is my creed.
You must change your ideals and values if you find yourself fighting the same battles year after year.
You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion, caste or creed-that has nothing to do with the business of the state.
Focus on your objectives and base your decisions on a moral foundation.
If your friends don’t support you, then divorce them. Get married to your dreams. Ten years from today, what they said about you will not matter. What you did with your time ultimately will.
Always seek justice, but love only mercy. To love justice and hate mercy is but a doorway to more injustice.
