The Christ event did not in that sense CHANGE the will of God, but rather it more clearly expressed God’s eternal will toward the whole of history.
The faithfulness of the Lord is beyond the understanding of men.
If you seek the presence of God, you will see the glory of God:
In all His acts God orders all things, whether good or evil, for the good of those who know Him and seek Him and who strive to bring their own freedom under obedience to His divine purpose. All that is done by the will of God in secret is done for His glory and for the good of those whom He has chosen to share in His glory.
Pursuing a dream without God’s approval is as dangerous as walking on a rope bridge over a big gutter? Guess the end….!
You are worthy and deserving of your desires. Following your heart’s Desire is the same as living God’s will, when you listen to your inner self and wisdom; you are actually carrying out God’s intention.
Our lives, as short as they may be, are a test. And one of the biggest tests we can endure is how we respond to those moments when we don’t feel the presence of God in our lives. I believe deeply that one of God’s greatest gifts is to teach us there is a purpose behind every single one of our trials or problems.
Treat them as a gift, an opportunity to move forward and draw closer to God. Problems often times compel us to look to God and count on him, rather than ourselves.
Even when things seem to be going wrong, they just could be going right because when you’re in God’s will, the negatives are part of his positive program.
When we’re not following God’s will, our sacrifices aren’t acceptable to Him. What God wants most is for us to be broken before Him, walk with Him, know Him, and obey Him.
The Lord knows all – His timing and reasoning is perfect. If we really trust Him, then we no longer see our failures as a bad thing. We will see them as an answer to our prayers even if we don’t understand how in the moment.
