a bride’s glittering jitters
and a handsome stranger’s smile.
It is often much harder to get rid of books than to acquire them. They stick to us in that pact of need and oblivion we make with them, witnesses to a moment in our lives we will never see again. While they are still there, it is part of us.
When we look back at life we realize no true moment defined us, but in fact the events leading up to that moment.

Life is a long travel. The end of the journey is often unpredictable.
O friend, for the morrow let us not worry
This moment we have now, let us not hurry
When our time comes, we shall not tarry
With seven thousand-year-olds, our burden carry
Live each day with graceful gratitude.
Often in life those seemingly ordinary moments hold the most extraordinary meaning.
